TARTAN (Telemetry Assisted Return Through Autonomous Navigation)

Created on 26 Oct 2019

System that can be installed in RC aircraft to allow for full autopilot & autonomous Return To Home (RTH) functionality.

Through intelligent tracking of aircraft telemetry, TARTAN will be a system that allows for any radio controlled aircraft powerful enough to carry it to support autopilot and RTH and landing functionality. This will result in much safer loss-of-signal scenarios which can be dangerous and costly with conventional RC aircraft.
